Yes, we scan your photos to digital from the developer’s envelope, albums you want to preserve, or from a baggie. After dropping them off at my lab, I’ll call in a few days and deliver digital images on USB drives, cloud, or external hard drives.
If you’d enjoy a slide show of your photos, after scanning, we can create it, too, including transitions and music.
Three Levels of Scanning Photos
- The Economy Photo to Digital scan resolution is 300 dpi, scanned ‘as is’ for the purpose of bulk preservation.
- The Keepsake Photo to Digital scan is at 600 dpi and includes all Economy benefits, but also color and light correction, dust and scratch removal, and manual image-by-image color and light restoration.
- The Heirloom Photo to digital scan is at 1200 dpi and includes all Keepsake benefits, but also hand cleaning of each photo and pre-restoration color, light, dust, and scratch correction.

For those very special photos that have suffered over time, we offer digital photo restoration that can bring damaged photos back to life, in amazing ways, while creases, fading, dust, and scratches disappear. “Sensitive” old photos scan on flatbed scanners, the most gentle way of scanning photos.
Don’t Forget Sharing and Backup
Back up digitized photos to keep them safe, copying them to devices like smartphones, smart TVs, laptops, desktops, tablets, USBs, and external hard drives. Sharing files is easy after backup. Cloud services make it easy to share digitized photos throughout the world.
Today’s delivery for scanned photos is a USB or an external hard drive, but DVDs are still an option. Slideshows are also available on DVD. Keep in mind that DVDs have two uses: data transfer and DVD video, but not both on the same disc.
