VHS to DVD – How Many Copies

When customers convert VHS to DVD – they often get just one copy. I always recommend two copies. Why? Because DVDs can get scratched, stepped on, and lost. People think that once they convert to digital, they are safe. But… if a DVD is lost, the only way to recover is by recapturing old videotape to DVD again! 

So, find a way to backup. Miniumum – get two copies. Second choice, get copies of the actual original video captures on an external hard drive. Third – save copies of the DVD images in the cloud, hard drive, or on your computer.
