Quite often, we receive PAL versions of VHS and DVD tapes and discs that our customers want to watch again, but have no player to do it.
PAL is a version of video frame recording used both on magnetic tape as well as on DVDs used primarily in Europe and some parts of South America.
SECAM is used in other parts of the world.
In order to convert PAL to DVD, you must start with a player that plays PAL format with an output that can be captured and converted to digital.
Once captured, the video can be transcoded to DVD like any other video and played on NTSC players (american). Voila!
