Discounts apply for projects using cloud or email delivery as well.

For very large orders, volume discounts are negotiated on a case-by-case basis.

Different Types of Media, Life VHS and 8MM Film to Digital?

The best way to explain is by example:

1. 5 cassettes to digital and 5 Hi8s to digital? Discount: 10 tape discount, or 10%.
2. 2,000 feet of 8mm film to digital and 3 VHS to digital. Discount: 15% for the whole project.
3. 3.000 negative images, 1 record, and 2 miniDV tapes. Discount: 20% for the whole project.

Once a type of media (like tapes even of different format like VHS and Hi8) qualifies for a volume discount, then the whole project receives that discount.

If two different types of media qualify for a volume discount, then the whole project receives the larger discount.

Can I Split a Project Into Pieces and Still Receive Volume Discounts?

Reborn Audio Video offers discounts per project, based on how many items are ordered at the same time. If done in pieces, each piece might qualify for its own discount, but having all of the volume at one time that makes great efficiency possible.

How Can a Digitizing Company Offer Volume Discounts?

Volume discounts can be offered when a company has multiple machines for converting each media type. For example, with a large VHS to Digital project, as many as 6 tapes can be captured at the same time, maximizing company equipment and personnel time.

If there are enough capture computers, then multiple types of media can be captures simultaneously. For example, if 8mm film conversion equipment has a dedicated capture computer and every VHS player has a dedicated computer, time based corrector, and conversion device, then both types of media can be captured at the same time. The same is true for Hi8, miniDV, cassette, and record devices.

This is how the best discount can do combined media types, even combining tapes where needed to get the maximum discount possible.
